Give the server sufficient time to load drivers about 30 seconds after log onand start the Backup Exec services, starting with the Backup Exec Agent Browser 8. The weird thing is that Windows could see both the drive and the Autoloader.

Plugged in the autoloader, powered it up, waited for initialization to complete, then powered up the server.
